Visiting the site
The site has no user accounts or contact forms. Hosting and security providers may process your IP address, request time, browser details and the page you visit to keep the site running and prevent misuse.
Clicks on manufacturer links
We count clicks on manufacturer links by date, manufacturer, page on our site, destination and language. This count uses no cookies or user profiles, and we do not store IP addresses in the statistics database. The figures represent clicks, not unique visitors.
Page views
We also count page views by date, page, language, broad device category and source, such as Google or another page on our site. We do not store full referring URLs, search queries or IP addresses in this database. We use no cookies or visitor identifiers; opening a page again counts as another view.
We also measure how long a page remains in a visible browser tab. For each page, we calculate the average from the number of measured openings and the total seconds. A random identifier for a single page opening prevents duplicate time reports; it is not stored in cookies or persistent browser storage and is not linked across pages. We delete this identifier from the statistics database after approximately seven days.
For each page, we also aggregate the furthest point of the content reached and whether the 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% thresholds were reached. This indicates content appearing on screen, not proof that the text was read. We use the same temporary page-opening identifier and do not link different pages.
Email communication
If you email us, we use your email address and the information in your message to reply and resolve your enquiry. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and meet any related obligations. Please do not send sensitive data or unnecessary documents.
External websites and video
Manufacturers' websites have their own privacy policies. The YouTube player only loads when you press the play button. YouTube may then process technical information about your device and viewing activity under its own terms.
Your rights
You can request information about your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, request restrictions on processing, and exercise other applicable data protection rights. You can also complain about data processing to Latvia's Data State Inspectorate.
